This four-week course shows you how to use plaster to create your own objects in clay and includes mixing plaster, making your own slip-casting and press-moulds, and completing your own fired ceramic object.
ONE PLACE LEFT
Creative Metalwork with artist Joseph Ingleby
Dates: 10.30am – 4pm, Saturdays (16th, 23rd & 30th January 2016)
Price: £185 (Includes all materials, use of tools and specialist machinery)
This course introduces participants to working in steel to both develop a hands-on knowledge relating to the processes for sculptural fabrication and to develop a sculptural language in constructed metal for its own sake. This could result in linear and rhythmic forms in space or volumetric and contained forms.
