GSS Vs. The Homeless World Cup

An artistic partnership project between Glasgow Sculpture Studios and The Homeless World Cup to create an inspiring new story for the Women’s International League. Glasgow Sculpture Studios have invited collaborative duo In the Shadow of the Hand (Sarah Forrest and Virginia Hutchison) to work directly with the women who play in the Scottish team and other women who have a background in homelessness to create an art work for the women’s tournament with the women themselves at the centre of the creative process. The cup will be sculpted and cast in aluminium using the artists’ own metal casting furnace.
